Founded in 1956, Jinan General Auto Works Plant, the predecessor of CNHTC, is the cradle of China's heavy duty truck industry. SINOTRUK introduced heavy duty truck project from Steyr in 1983 as China's first enterprise that introduced heavy truck manufacturing technologies from abroad. SINOTRUK was established following the reform and restructuring in 2001, became a Hong Kong listed company in 2007; and in 2009, SINOTRUK forged a strategic partnership with Germany MAN which holding a 25%+1 stake in SINOTUK (Hong Kong) Limited, and introduced D08, D20 and D26 engine technologies, medium & heavy duty truck axle technologies. SINOTRUK Hubei Huawin Special Vehicle Co., LTD is located in Suizhou of Hubei province and employs 1,000 people which including 200 all kinds of qualified engineers, designers and other researchers, has accumulated rich experienced in manufacturing and designing all kinds of special purpose vehicles (tractor trucks, cargo trucks, crane mounted trucks, garbage trucks, water trucks etc.) and semi trailers (flatbed trailers, tipper trailers ,tank trailers and concrete mixer trailers etc.). The annual production capacity has reached 20,000 units of special purpose vehicles and 10,000 semi trailers, and sales of products in more than 110 markets.
