To thoroughly implement the requirements for reforming the industrial workforce in the new era and continuously enhance the quality and effectiveness of establishing employee innovation studios, the Jinan Automotive Digital Technology Application Innovation Studio Alliance was formally established with a project signing ceremony held at Sinotruk on 25 December. Gong Junqing, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice-Chairman of the Jinan Federation of Trade Unions, and Jiang Pengpeng, Deputy Party Secretary, Director and Chairman of the Trade Union of Sinotruk Group, attended the ceremony and delivered addresses.

At the ceremony, Gong Junqing and representatives from member organisations took to the stage to jointly witness the formal establishment of the Jinan Automotive Digital Technology Application Innovation Studio Alliance, ushering in a new chapter of collaborative development and deep integration. Subsequently, representatives from member organisations ascended the stage in turn to sign the Innovation Studio Alliance agreement.

Gong Junqing, representing the Jinan Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, extended warm congratulations on the establishment of the alliance. She stated that the formation of the Automotive Digital Technology Application Innovation Studio Alliance represents not only an imperative for seizing development opportunities and enhancing the industry's core competitiveness, but also a concrete implementation of the municipal Party committee and government's "Industrial Strengthening Strategy". Furthermore, it constitutes a powerful measure for integrating automotive industry innovation resources and establishing a collaborative research and achievement transformation system. All member units of the Alliance should strengthen collaborative innovation, focus on talent cultivation, and promote the transformation of achievements, working together to help Jinan build an innovation hub for the automotive industry. The Jinan Municipal Federation of Trade Unions will fully support the development of the Innovation Studio Alliance, continuing to exert efforts in policy support, resource matching, and fostering an enabling environment to create more favourable conditions for the Alliance's growth.

Jiang Pengpeng expressed gratitude to the Jinan Municipal Federation of Trade Unions for its longstanding trust and support towards China National Heavy Duty Truck Group, and reported on the Group's annual production and operational achievements. He stated that as the alliance's founding member and host organisation, Sinotruk would steadfastly uphold the ethos of "one family, one heart, working together to achieve success". The company would continue driving innovation and application of digital technologies within Jinan's automotive sector by: - Opening its resource "gates" to serve as the alliance's "sharer"; - Raising the "banner" of technological breakthroughs to act as the alliance's "pioneer"; - Building a growth "stage" to function as the alliance's "servant"; and build bridges of communication to serve as the alliance's liaison. Together with all member units, we will drive the high-quality operation of the alliance, transforming it into a cradle of digital innovation, an incubator for skilled craftsmen, and a catalyst for industrial upgrading, thereby injecting stronger momentum into the high-quality development of Jinan's automotive industry.

At the meeting, representatives from China National Heavy Duty Truck Group and Jinan Second Machine Tool Group's Qilu Craftsmen programme took turns sharing their innovative work experiences. Discussions centred on the operational management of innovation studios, practical case studies of innovation projects, and the application and commercialisation of outcomes.

National Model Worker and Qilu Craftsman Jia Xiangbo read out the Alliance's initiative, calling upon all member units to: foster mutual learning to create a "fast track" for talent development; cultivate fertile ground to champion the "craftsman spirit" of excellence. Taking the alliance's establishment as a new starting point, they pledged to join forces, pool wisdom to tackle challenges, and collectively polish the golden brand of "Made in China" and "Made in Jinan".
Prior to the meeting, Gong Junqing and his delegation toured the Shandong Heavy Industry Future Technology Museum, gaining detailed insights into the group's industrial layout, product highlights, and developments in powertrain systems and new energy vehicles.
Over 130 attendees participated in the event, including relevant officials from the Jinan Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, representatives from member units of the Jinan Automotive Digital Technology Application Innovation Studio Alliance, heads of various innovation studios, and employee delegates.
